Zaid Mu'min
Sifu, Great Grand Master
I grew up in and around suburbs of Chicago in the '80s and I am a survivor of abuse. I was bullied in my neighborhood, at school, and survived multiple types of abuse during my childhood. I started my journey in the martial arts at 14 and started teaching at 19.
I am also a member of the Black Karate Federation.
I teach a fighting science called M*Y which stands for Mastering Yourself. This fighting science combines Okinawan Karate, Choy Li Fut Kung Fu, and Jujitsu. My passion is teaching others, especially high-risk groups, and providing them with tools to avoid being victimized.
